Every day at Datolaser, we work and breathe laser cutting. Every day, we experience it. Any members of the team have spent their entire working life in the industry, accumulating a diverse selection of skills.
Every month, we get thousands of inquiries. The majority of these inquiries come from companies and organizations interested in collaborating with us to provide laser cutting solutions that meet their needs. If a client has electronic sketches such as dxfs or dwgs and understands the grade of material they need, they will depend on the XTlaser team because we give fast quotes, short lead times, and provide precisely what they need, when they need it.
Some of our questions, on the other hand, come from clients who know exactly what they want and where they want to go, but lack the in-house expertise or experience to get there. They could have a product concept or need a laser cut part that satisfies a specific need, and they come to us to make that need a reality.
So, with that in mind, we agreed to compile a list of the most commonly asked questions about laser cutting and respond to them for you.
1. Does it matter if I don't have a technical drawing of my part, product, or component?
In a nutshell, no. At our production plant, we have a top-notch team of CAD/CAM engineers. Although it would be best if you could include your own artwork, our team will take rough drawings and convert them into a laser-cuttable file.
2. Which metals do you cut with a laser?
SSC stands for Steel Support Centre, in case you didn't know. We deal with a selection of steel and metals. Most types are made of light steel, stainless steel , and aluminum. We may now laser cut Brass up to 15mm and Copper up to 12mm due to the advent of fiber processing.
3. Can you produce my part, product, or portion in a timely manner?
We plan to manufacture parts as fast as possible through a nonstop manufacturing facility. On the day of issue, all of our quotes have total and correct lead times. We'll confirm these lead times when you place your order, so you'll know exactly what's going on and when. Demand has a significant impact on when the order is filled, but flat laser cut parts have a typical lead time of 3 to 5 days. However, the SSC Laser team is a friendly bunch, so if you need your items sooner, let us know and we'll do everything we can to accommodate you.
4. I've looked into other methods of manufacturing; why should I use Laser Cutting?
There are three good reasons to suggest laser cutting. It is right. It is both fast and cost-effective.
5. Do I have to put a big order with you?
Laser cutting has the advantage of being able to cut a single part or a million. The cost would be different for the latter, but we can cut as much or as little as you like using laser cutting technology. If you need additional units in the future, all we need to do is load your design, push the button, and you will obtain the very same component that you ordered previously with no modifications.
6. I need to duplicate a section for which I no longer have the files, may you do it?
Yeah, we will take a scan of an object and use state-of-the-art laser scanning technologies to make the required drawings to replicate your component using our laser cutting machines.
7. What is the accuracy of laser cutting?
Highly! Parts can be sliced to a tolerance of 0.2mm with laser cutting.
8. Is it possible for me to visit your factory even if I am not in China?
We protect the whole globe at Datolaser. Clients from all around the world collaborate with our sales support staff. We are able to arrange a phone or video call due to the present COVID-19 condition.
